Background
ASURA™ is a provider of FERTMARK® registered products, supplying a complete range of the highest quality fertiliser products to the farmer. ASURA™ has operated in the North Island expanding our client base since 1985 with stores throughout the Island. ASURA™ are the sole importers of SECHURA RPR which is the worlds purest form of Phosphate and the most reactive Phosphate rock. ASURA™ has some standard mixes but we specialise in custom blending for the individual farm requirement. This is done by analysing information that the farmer makes available to us in the form of fertiliser history and soil tests. One advantage with our product range is that the farmer doesn’t have to settle for the closest mix on the product list - if you want something different – see us. This is the ASURA™ philosophy. All the mixes sold by ASURA™ contain calcium so you are always assured of receiving a balanced fertiliser application. ASURA MAJOR™
This blend is proving very popular with the Dairy industry and also Sheep and Beef farmers. By supplying a balanced fertiliser with a "controlled" release of nutrient, means the cost per unit of nutrient on the Asura Major™ mix takes some beating when compared to single super phosphate. Performance leaves super wanting as well. Feedback from clients intimates greater production, less animal health worries, and in the case of the sheep farmers, less dagging. ASURA COMPHOS™
Over the last four years ASURA™ Fertiliser has developed, tested, and field trialed in pastoral and horticultural situations, a unique compost containing millions of live bacteria.
ASURA™ Fertiliser has combined their recently developed high quality compost with the traditional N,P,K,S, mixes based on the highly effective and internationally renown Sechura RPR from Peru. With Sechura containing 35% Calcium and each tonne having the liming value of approximately half a tonne of high quality limestone the Asura Comphos mixes have all the ingredients requirements to stimulate microbial and worm activity and hence increase pasture growth.
An increasing number of farmers have become aware that even with input of sufficient or even high levels of traditional fertiliser. pasture growth is not increasing and often is very uneven within the paddock and throughout the season. This can often be attributed to lack of sufficient microbial and worm activity for a strong natural nitrogen cycle. For further information contact Bernard Lilburn.
ASURA SWIFT™
This is a nitrogenous mix with the added bonus of maintenance Phosphate and Sulphur being applied at the same time. This provides a real cost saving to the farmer with a single cartage and application cost. An application of this product at 250kgs/ha provides 20kgs/ha of N (nitrogen) P (phosphate), 24kgs of S (sulphur) and 52 kgs/ha of calcium. The calcium offsets the acidifying action of the nitrogen creating a top performing fertiliser. Where else can you get a balanced mix such as this? Price is also highly competitive. ASURA BRUTE
Another of our nitrogen mixes comes in the form of Asura Brute. The name says it all! Similar levels of N but with a P of 15. This mix contains DAP and is a known product to farmers. This blend is supplying spectacular results for clients and is a very cost-effective way of applying fertiliser. For further information contact Bernard Lilburn.
FOREMOST
This range gives us the ability to supply the complete range in that we have the most powerful Di-Calcic fertilisers available on the market. The HiCalSul Lime is the quickest acting lime on the market and is blended at Mt View to make our Calphosphate Di-Calcic range. These products are a godsend to pasture that has seen repeated or overuse of nitrogen. They will restore fertility and lift pHs’s far quicker than comparable products on the market. The Mt View Store is situated in centre of our area of operation, in the heart of the Rangitikei, just north of Marton on State Highway One. All products are delivered to the store from ports around the lower North Island, where they are blended to meet our clients needs and dispatched to the farm direct. We can arrange your spreading or application requirements as well as storage in some cases that are in close proximity to the Mt View Store.
